At Cutting Edge Kempo Karate our schedule is tailored to provide you and your family with the best in Martial Arts training in a safe clean environment. We take pride in keeping our classes controlled by age and rank, as well as our Instructor to student ratio. At our Dojo you may rest assured that there will be several Assistant Instructors helping your Chief Instructor to guide you and your children on their journey to a healthier more disciplined future through Karate. All of our classes are divided by age group and by training level to allow more one on one time with your Instructor.

Our students are expected to be productive members of their community, keep their school grades at a level that represents the best of their ability, and to lead a home life that all others can look up to. At Cutting Edge Kempo Karate we strive to create leaders and work side by side with any and all students, of any age, to help them achieve all that they are capable of attaining. Beginners train with beginners, Intermediate levels train together, and Advanced classes are intense and productive. Most people who have trained elsewhere say that they learn more with us in a few weeks than they have in many months with other instructors.

Our Adult classes are efficient and intense, but also fully adaptable for all levels of fitness and understanding. The art of Kempo as we teach it is fully customizable and tailored to each individual’s strong and weak points. Because Kempo Karate is a non strength reliant system, any one of any size can successfully apply the techniques of the system. The goal is to avoid conflict to the best of our ability by using environmental awareness and street wise common sense, but if forced into an altercation there is only one acceptable outcome.

Our adults and our children learn the same no holds barred fighting system. The children’s classes are provided in a fun and safe environment, while they learn how to properly stop an attack and neutralize an opponent. Along with the fighting technique, a great emphasis is placed on recognizing, avoiding and dealing with verbal and physical bullying as well as stranger awareness. Even our games are geared towards enhancing hand eye co-ordination, balance, strength, and teamwork skills.
