Now get back on the mat.
We will meet at the Dojo on Monday May 30th at 10:00 am, make sure you wear all your Cutting Edge Kempo Karate apparel proudly!!!
After assembling at the Dojo at 10:00 am, we take the time to snap a few photos and then walk down the street to the Holbrook plaza where the parade will begin around 10:30. We will march south down Main Street to Furrows Road West to Grundy Avenue South up to the Vietnam Memorial on the corner of Grundy and Terry Roads. The entire march is around 1.15 Miles and should take us about a half an hour to complete.
I would like to see students, moms and dads alike show their pride not only in school but in country as we march through the streets of our community. Lets all have some fun family time together!
See everyone there!
At Cutting Edge Kempo Karate your health and safety is our primary concern. With the road conditions as they are, we have decided it would be best to cancel classes for tonight, Friday February 2nd. Enjoy time together with the family and keep each other warm.
And don’t forget, while you have the extra time on your hands to practice! Don’t forget we have the Kempo Invitational tournament coming up in March!
Looks like the weather people had it right this time! We will be closing the Dojo on Sunday as well for the safety and well being of all our families and instructors. Besides, you’re going to need that time to get those shovels and snowblowers going. I only hope that everyone is stocked up on milk, bread and eggs for the weekend.
Don’t forget to practice in between shovel loads of snow, and I hope all our young adults are out there in the community helping those people that need the strong bodies. Remember a little help goes a long way…
See you all on Monday for our regularly scheduled classes!
We will be closed Saturday July 4th and Sunday July 5th in observance of Independence day. Enjoy the weekend with your families and please be safe, use common sense and don’t forget to practice.
